Clarium Capital – a lesson in leverage

I admit – Peter Thiel is hot. Red hot. PayPal, FaceBook, now Clarium Capital.
I met with them when i was investing in other hedge funds a few years back. I passed and that was wrong.
The leverage factor just scared me off. Still does. Always will.
Oh well.
The story is great, the ending is something I will follow. Maybe it is not in sight.
In my view of history – leverage NEVER ends well. We will see if he pulls off the leverage in time and if not, who is left holding the bag when it blows.
