Josh Kopelman has a great piece about the costs of starting a software company in the internet world . A must read.
There are businesses that will always need gobs of money to start, but in the web software world, it remains a great time to fund and be funded.
If you are looking to be funded, think about what Josh say. If you are funding startups in the space, see my last sentence :) .
