138 new 52-week highs among stocks that gained 1% or more. Some of the notable movers include:

  • Financial stocks shined today as the big players ($JPM) and  the U.S. regional banks ETF ($ITA) cleared multi-year highs: $FHN $RF $STL
  • Baby boomers stocks are back and making new highs again: long-term care facilities ($CSU, $ESC) and recreational vehicle stocks ($WGO, $HOG) had a good day
  • Oil and gas stocks started to rally near the end of February and are still going strong: $COG $BCEI
  • I don’t know a single person that uses Angie’s List, but its stock just cleared new all-time highs and it is already a $1 Billion company. Only price pays. $ANGI

StockTwits 50 Highlights 

  • Most momentum leaders took a break on Thursday, which is only natural after the powerful moves many staged over the past few days.
  • Notable weakness in $KORS (apparel), $GNRC (power generators) and $XXIA (scientific and technical instruments)
  • This is $AZPN’s 42nd week on the St50 list and it is setting up again above its rising 20dma; So are $PRLB and PHM (homebuilder)
  • $SBUX made new YTD high while 3D printing stocks $DDD and $SSYS recovered some of the lost ground earlier in the week
