Momentum Wrap – Visa and Mastercard Hit New All-time Highs Again

33 All-time Highs among stocks that gained 1% or more today: TROV KMX NTI CVI COG ALDW LOV MHH ASH CFNL RSE INFI PPG CSGP GEOS MTX TGI CVLT  CSU INGR OAK BBSI EMN AMT  CSL BLL  V MA SSYS RAX DPZ CP MTD

128 stocks reached new 52-week Highs while appreciating 1%+. Some of the notable movers include:

  • Refiners keep gaining ground: $CVI $HFC $NTI $ALDW
  • Pay attention to other oil stocks too. Both $COG and $HERO followed up on their breakouts from yesterday
  • $SFUN was one of the few Chinese ADRs that remained relatively unscathed during the “great Chinese selloff” two weeks ago. New all-time highs for them today.
  • Auto dealers stocks continue to make new highs: $KMX $LAD
  • Some restaurants are doing better than other. $DPZ and $DIN cleared multi-year highs
  • Medical equipment stocks are breaking out all over the place: $SMA $ICUI $TFX

StockTwits 50 Notables

  • With all the talk about households deleveraging, $V and $MA keep chugging along and make new all-time highs. It seems that the paperless secular trend is trumping everything else;
  • Other multi-year highs: $ARMH $CRAY $RAX $CVLT $DPZ $AKAM $SSYS
  • $TASR has quickly become a “gun-alternative” play and it is already up more than 15% for the week
  • $QIHU managed to hold its multi-month breakout and now it is slowly going back to new highs
  • $RDEN and $MIDD are in the failed breakouts camp
