Goodbye Tuscany ...Back To Work

Good morning…

It is Saturday eve here in Italy and my trip is almost done. Back to work Monday.

The next two weeks are intense as our portfolio company Grass Clippings holds their first high stakes par 3 tournament this week and weekend (you can come hang with us if you are in Phoenix) and the following week we host 150 people for our Social Leverage LP and founder event.

Onward…

The last seven days of riding have been epic.

We covered hundreds of miles and 16,000 feet of climbing. Most importantly, no accidents or injuries.

Our hardest ride was in the hills around Luca and we ended in Pisa for a great group picture at the leaning tower…

Yesterday we helicoptered to the island of Elba for an iconic ride along the cost and up up up after which I tried to enjoy a cigarette…

After an incredible descent we had a great lunch at the sea…

Today was another iconic ride over the Alps and down to the sea at a favorite place of mine - Forte Dei Marmi:

Forte Dei Marmi is a posh town, but a must place to ride and people watch. We had a fantastic lunch at Osteria Del Mare after which I dipped my toes in the Mediterranean Sea…

Here is what you see from the sea looking back at the ride…

Excited to get home.
