Easily share to StockTwits from HootSuite!

One of our goals is to make participating in StockTwits as easy as possible for our members. We are excited to announce that the StockTwits app for HootSuite was released today into the HootSuite App Directory . This new application allows all HootSuite users to share their ideas, charts, links, insights and commentary with the StockTwits network directly from the HootSuite Compose Message box.

Messages sent to your StockTwits account via the StockTwits app for HootSuite are treated the same by our system as if you had shared the message directly from StockTwits.com – that means the message will appear on all our distribution network partners as well as on StockTwits.com. For StockTwits members who use HootSuite today, or need a social media management system, this creates a simple workflow that integrates with the rest of your social media activity.

Here’s how you do it:

1. Go to HootSuite and sign up for an account if you don’t have one.

2. Once you’re all set up visit the App Directory from the left navigation bar:

3. Find the StockTwits App and install it.

4. Log in with your StockTwits credentials when prompted.

5. To send a message to StockTwits, select your StockTwits account in the social profile selector drop down.  When this is on, your messages will be sent to StockTwits (along with whatever other networks you choose)
