The tech world is distracted right now with the soap opera that is Open AI and their board structure. One look at Techmeme and you know…

My friend Michael covers it all in his post ‘Open AI’s Black Swan Moment’. As I have pointed out here for months, Michael’s free daily AI summary email is the best. Michael ran internet research for Goldman Sachs back in the olden days of the internet in the 1990’s.

This piece from my pal Om today is also great titled’ The Foundational Risks of Open AI’.

I was zooming with Om earlier in the week before the ‘shake up’ and we were talking about his great essay a few months back titled ‘The social internet is dead’. On October 25 I came back to Twitter desktop to stand with Israel but removed all social mobile apps from my iPhone (save Whatsapp and Stocktwits). The last few months have only accelerated the decline of the ‘social internet’.

If the social internet could do just ONE thing in 2023 it could rally or create enough noise to get the 240 hostages from 40 countries freed from Hamas and Gaza.

Instead, we have Nazi’s marching in the streets of Madison, Wisconsin and a letter from psycho, murderer dead Osama trending on Tik Tok. If good people do not speak up all day every day right now, the radicals will run the town.

Here is a very simple response I have been sending to the very small percentage of people that decide to argue with me about Israel which explains anti-Zionist logic perfectly:
