Always be Buying? At Least Looking!

I save a lot of time not looking for short sales.

By watching all-time highs and better yet, having my friends Cole and Eric emailing me ideas every now and again from Blackstar’s portfolio, I never get too bearish.

On Friday, I noticed two things…solar stocks were exploding higher (my First Solar is back near all-time hughs) and some drug and medical stocks doing well…ESRX (long), JNJ and MCK and SRCL (Wallstrip TOMORROW). In tech, Verisign (VRSN) showed me some great love ripping to 5 year-highs. NOBODY in technology likes this stock. That’s good .

Check out CSIQ from the solar sector which busted to all-time highs Friday. Rajun Cajun has the details . I am not sure if I trust a stock called Canadian Solar that really is a Chinese company, but that is some serious strength. I just checked the website and they have an office on Phoenix near me so I may just drop by if I buy the stock and see if they really are doing business :) .

It’s fun to be bearish, especially when you don’t own stocks. It just has not been a great bet for the last bazillion years (since 1987 here ). Makes for good dinner talk though.
