A Bear Market Checklist

Good morning.

Charlie has a great post up titled 'A Bear market Checklist'.

You are thinking 'why share it now'?

The point is to have it search handy for those moments in time you are felling really down about the markets or very up about the markets.  It won't hurt any investor to check in on it even monthly.

There are a couple of the charts that really stood out to me as this current bear market rages on for many.  The first is the bond drawdown which is the worst of all time.  If you don't own any bonds today, maybe this is the right time to consider them in your portfolio.  I have and started adding for the first time in my life the last few months.

The next chart lists the bear markets of the last 100 years.  It should give you some context for time and percentage decline. I hope this helps.
