The Birth of ‘Cheddar’ ....More Death to CNBC

My friend Jon Steinberg started Cheddar this year and he is a force of nature. He pitched me on the idea and I was excited for him from the start. It is NOT easy to make this happen. It is also expensive…even with Facebook being ‘free’. Today they announced another $10 million in funding.

As Jon says, Stocktwits and Cheddar go together like peanut butter and jelly. Jon now has built the beginnings of a great platform/network.

I am all for a business channel for millennials. Stocktwits wants to help and I have been sharing a lot of ideas with Jon and his team.
