BTFP – Buy The Fu**ing Panic

We will be looking back at the March 2020 stock market panic for 100 years.

Every dip will set off March 2020 alarm bells.

The $VIX broke all kinds of records.

Flash forward less than 60 days and we have record unemployment and over 75,000 Americans dead from COVID 19.

The $VIX is still above 30 and historically as I pointed out last week, we can expect higher volatility to be with us for the next year or two.

BUT…the Nasdaq is now up on the year.

The internet and the cloud stocks went from ‘get me out’ to ‘get me in’ in less than 60 days.

On March 10, I decided to chronicle the panic and call some of the smartest founders, venture capitalists, investors and traders I knew to hear what they had to say about this panic. None of us knew how long the panic would go on, but I wanted to hear what was on the other side.

My talk with Jeff Richards stands out the most on March 14th.
