Content Businesses set to scale like never before!

Seemed like an appropriate title for a post after reading Scott Karp’s piece that says Content Businesses Don’t Scale Anymore.

Shit – I never knew they did. You ever make a TV commercial, shoot a movie, make an HBO show. What the hell is he talking about.

There is an abundance of talent like never before. At Wallstrip, actors are coming out to pitch in. Maybe they will get discovered. I was discussing the subject just this weekend with my partner Adam, who seems to know a lot more about New Media than anyone I am reading over in nerdville. He is actually out making it daily.

The video content will get better and the jobs will start to follow. The technologists are getting better and better at delivering relevant ads BY THE DAY. There is too much money at stake for this not to get perfected.

Cheap equipment, cheap bandwith, abundance of talent, cheap distribution and a huge flow of advertising dollars.

I completely disagree with Scott – Content businesses are set to scale like never before.
