EMC on Wallstrip...We Need More Storage!

Today Julie takes a deeper look at EMC on Wallstrip .

Brian offers an amazing history lesson and trading lesson using the chart of EMC. One thing about stocks, the names chage, but the pricing patterns look very much the same on rises and falls:

EMC is the supermarket of storage . Yes, there are many competitors, but EMC likes to gobble up anybody displaying a whiff of success.

Until a few weeks ago it looked like EMC was truly back from the Nasdaq Bubble dead. Today it looks like just another troubled tech stock with no pricing power. I feel your pain as I have ridden it up and and down .

Maybe it was it’s stake in VMWare (Wallstrip IPO show ) that got the price all hot bothered and breaking out. If so, that run is over. VMWare has also crashed back to earth the last few weeks ( if you count a $31 billion market cap as having crashed).

It looks like the collective market is starting to give a rat’s ass about valuation and what their little pieces of paper are worth. Don’t be fooled. When the market gets like this, stocks can go much lower than you think and you need to bide by your stop rules.

Money Management is the name of the game these days.
