Even The French Are Making Money....Investing is Facile!

Every day I make references to the wild, silly, exciting and reckless behavior in the markets.

Every day someone will chime in to my stream with ‘this is the top‘! I have been that person in the past.

Thank goodness I have not been that person in this boom (started in March 2009).

Yes, I have had a few blowups of late (Peloton and Zillow) and China has blown up its technology stocks, but I like to follow more than just a few stocks and a few markets and as JC recently wrote…’What If We Are Not Bullish Enough‘?

Yesterday, even French investors had something to celebrate…a 20 year in waiting CAC 40 all-time high:

I already know who will chime into my email after this mornings blog post with ‘this is the top’, so I have translated it for them hoping they show a little bit of style…

C’est Le Top!

Maybe this finally is the BIGLY WIGLY sign of the top, but I doubt it. Even the French are making a little l’argent.

Maybe the French millennials will get a little taste of this boom and embrace the new American phenomenon of ‘speculation is entertainment’.
