Facebook is worth MORE than Exxon...Maybe Oil Was The Fad?

Exxon was started in 1870

Facebook was started in 2004.

Facebook was almost always thought of as a fad.

Today, I don’t think I need Facebook, but most of the businesses I invest in rely on Facebook to find and buy users. I can’t imagine a world in which it won’t matter.

Today, I need oil but I can imagine a world in which oil won’t matter as much.

Pretty amazing day in market history.
