Fade The Nerds...

‘Fading the Nerds’ is like printing money. It’s like fading Bob Pisani.

There are really three tech sites worth following and if you learn to read them properly, you can make money and improve your technology knowledge and trend spotting ability.

When it comes to technology, if you trust financial sites, Wall Street research and talking heads for insight, you are an ass.

I check TechMeme at least 3 times a day. I read Om Malik every day and check in on NewTeeVee as well. Om is straight reporting with lot’s of tech knowledge and experience. His readers are less hype driven and there are juicy tidbits from the comments. I learn something important every day. Finally, I check in on TechCrunch at least a few times a week. The real money at TechCrunch is in the nerd comments (fade them). If they gush – sell, if they hate – buy.
