Fear and Uncertainty are Spiking...Is There Anywhere to Hide?

Good morning everyone…

I will have a detailed post on the second annual Stocktwits ‘Cashtag Awards’, presented by Polymarket, at the NYSE on May 4th in the coming days.

Onward…

It is shaping up to be a wild week in the markets as the war in Iran continues and oil surges above $90. Larry points out that there is nowhere to hide.

If you have followed me over the years when the $VIX gets past 30, the market gets my full attention and we are pretty much there. I will be glued to the screens this week and have been building lists of stocks and indexes that I will be scanning as I look to add some exposure.

The good news…odds are considered evidence and the odds of a higher market one year out from moments like this are very high…

In the meantime though, the ‘world uncertainty index’ is at all time highs…

Here is a chart of the historic spike in oil which will have consumers freaked out…
