Financial Tragedies Are Always Telegraphed...Gold, Apple and The Next Crash
It’s been a horrible day for people in Boston. It is mostly impossible to predict these type of terrible events.
Financial tradegies on the other hand are almost always telegraphed and avoidable.
Today the markets were shellacked. Major media will blame Boston and Gold.
Not true at all.
Last week I wrote a blog post about how optimistic I was, yet underinvested I continued to be in stocks. Today, I am grateful to live in San Diego and be underinvested.
While today does not dampen my rosy outlook – PRICES and sentiment have definitely changed and very quickly.
The playing field is in constant motion and to ignore the new data of today would be silly. For instance:
Gold is now completely busted;
Apple looks like it is ready to drop big; and
People that chased leading sectors like transportation are now quickly in the red.
If today is the beginning of a financial crash in equities, you were warned. You will be warned again if you know how to read prices and people.
Let’s please sparate the financial/market predictions from tragic life events. Hug your favorite loved ones as well.
