FLASHTASTIC – Adobe's day in the sun?

If you believe this story ( I do), Adobe’s resurgence is part brilliance and a LOT of screwups by competitors.

Adobe has risen from about 20 cents in 1986 to today’s $37 and change. Not shabby. PDF and ACROBAT have long been staples. Today, they have Falsh in their repetoire.

I think our show says it all. The catalyst is Flash and the Macromedia acquisition looks smart for now.

It won’t happen, but Apple, Microsoft, Yahoo or Google should take them out and own the space and the gateway to YouTube’s and the like.

I own this stock and love the whole video space and although it is not at an all-time high, I bought it on weakness a few months ago . I could not resist. It was my favorite way to own YouTube next to Akamai.

Above it’s all time highs in the very low 40’s I would add.
