Garmin just grooving as GPS gets traction

Garmin has had a great run and this morning is up $15 on their numbers.

When a company is beating numbers, it is because analysts don’t fully understand the potential of a product or service.

Like Sandisk is to Flash and Ipod is to music, Garmin is to GPS. GPS is a cool, rapidly becoming affordable and could be a christmas surprise – maybe Apple partners with Garmin to provide GPS in the wireless iPod (oh to dream). These kind of possibilities lead to opportunities on the long side. I am not adding, but holding mu stock.
