God Bless America, but take some profits

I love the way markets lead THE NEWS.

Last night and today, we learned why the markets have rallied so strongly since summer and through a generally awful seasonal market period.

Fred says – God Bless America. I have not one ounce of political instinct, but this news was baked into the market. Fred is really happy. So are a majority of Americans.

The big money has known the outcome of this election (and been happy :) ) since the end of the summer. They had placed their bets long before today’s election outcomes.

We may get some more upside spikes but I am happy to have been a seller today.

The news is out!

The real work now lies ahead and we know how good the politicians are at that.
