Gold Merger – This was old news for some people. Investigations should follow.

Since gold peaked at $720 a few months back, the stocks have been lifeless.

Today, GoldCorp made a bid for Glamis Gold. Head over to Bill Cara’s site for the news and analysis .

I own some Goldcorp (GG) which was down on the news and some Glamis (GLG) that was up on the news. I knew nothing. Just luck. I remain long gold.

Taking a look at the charts since Gold Peaked in May – you see that Glamis started rallying in June and was near its yearly high before the news was announced . Not so for GG which has been down and stayed down since June .

Leak footprints are all over this one since June. Let’s see if anyone cares. Doubt it.
