Goodbye Tel Aviv...Back To Phoenix and Organizing All My Notes and Thoughts...

I am back in Phoenix after a long day of travel.

It is good to be home. I left Phoenix for Toronto on August 27th so it has been one of my longest road trips.

I did not expect to be so tired but after looking at some of the cycling pictures, I am going to give myself a few more days to collect my thoughts…

My last sunset in Tel Aviv looked like this …

The food, beach, weather, energy and the many Zohan’s I watched as I walked on the boardwalk each evening are an addictive combination.

In tomorrow’s ‘Trends With Friends’ episode I shared a bunch of my insights from the week in Tel Aviv so please do listen.

The other day on the way to lunch, my taxi driver (in his 60’s), overheard a conversation I was having about startups and the market and asked me for my favorite technology stock. I told him I generally just buy the $QQQ and he said ‘me too’. I told him we could chat on ‘Stocktwits’ and he downloaded the app as he pulled me over. It was fun to watch…

My favorite late night snack of the week was ‘Itzik Hagadol’ a 30 minute walk south from my hotel Kempinski to Jaffe. Their specialty…Wagyu Shawarma…

I am headed back in Tel Aviv with Ellen in November and making my first trip to Abu Dhabi for a fintech conference.

In the meantime, back to the real world.
