Yesterday’s blog post struck a good chord with people. I am glad. Thanks everyone for the feedback.

Most of the times, the quicker I can write a post, the better engagement the post gets. Note to self to do more often.

Yesterday I was catching up on the 4th quarter in e-commerce with my friend Paul Tran also the founder of Manscaped.

Manscaped recently launched a new product called ‘The Beard Hedger’ with hilarious and talented PGA golfer John Daly. John has the perfect Santa Claus beard and personality for the manscaped brand. Somehow, Paul and his marketing team always nail the tone and spirit of the brand. John is best known for his tagline ‘grip it and rip it’. For Manscaped that tag line is now ‘grip it and trim it’.

I have been writing about the urgency and importance of marketing as we go through this tech bear market. Web 2 is over and the strategies that worked for growth have changed.

Paul and the Manscaped team have always been creative, always tested new formats of media and are at it again.

I can’t wait to have Paul back on the ‘Panic’ podcast. Here is the original Panic With Paul.
