Happy Anniversary Ellen

Ellen and I are celebrating our 24th anniversary today.

The years have moved quickly and we are lucky to have found each other.

There was no Tinder back in the old days. Ellen’s sister knew an acquaintance of mine and set the whole thing up.

On our second date, Ellen had to wait while I finished watching The Blue Jays beat the Phillies in game six of The World Series with Joe Carter’s walk off home run. Born in Toronto, that was a double big night for me.

When people that know me finally meet Ellen, 99 percent of them say to her ‘How the hell do you put up with him‘?

She just laughs and comes to my defense.

People ask me the key to our marriage and I say that’s easy ‘She does not have a Stocktwits or Twitter account’ and just reads my blog’!

I could not ask for a better partner in life.
