The Most Important Slide Missing from Mary Meeker’s Internet Trends Report

Mary Meeker released her yearly Internet Trends report last week. Here it is…all 355 slides.
I guess India and China are going to be big. Who knew?
The most important slide is one NOT in the deck which is about being hacked. We are all going to get hacked and so it might pay to heed Fred Wilson’s blog post on the subject. Seems like the weakest link is of course Verizon or AT&T, so make sure you at least do this today:
Call your cell phone provider and put a “do not port under any circumstances” hold on your phone number. I did this about six months ago and I think it may have saved me. It is way too easy to port a phone number and once a hacker has your number, they have access to two factor codes coming via SMS.
