I think even for small investors like me, it’s time to open our eyes to India.

I was reading that Facebook’s Whatsapp has $200 million users in India.

With technology in China mostly a lockdown for Alibaba and Tencent, India is a little more up for grabs to American Companies.

I believe Apple will be a winner in India over time but it sure looks like Facebook has a nice wedge in as well.

MakeMyTrip ($MMYT – A ‘Priceline’ of India) has been a volatile public stock that might be a good proxy and is on my watchlist.

Fintech will be a monster category as well and I am reading up and will share some more observations when I have a better grasp.
