Lucky Lindzee and Never Underestimate a Treat ... Happy New Year

Today we almost lost our puppy Lindzee

Lindzee just likes to chase.

We are not used to living near a busy street and today Lindzee just busted after a bird as we opened our sliding door and took off.

We are about 50 yards from Camelback and she was off towards it. I heard Ellen yell and as I came out to chase, Lindzee was a few yards from traffic. After a few years of chasing Lindzee on Coronado I am used to yelling ‘come get a treat’ as the only way to get her to turn.

Luckily today I screamed loud enough and in the nick of time to see her turn and race back.

I call it the ‘treat miracle’ of 2016.
