For The Man Who Has Everything (But Hair) - The Dome Shaver From Manscaped

I am not bald but I am hair challenged.

I have had a bad hair couple of decades.

I will be a terrible bald person but it is good to know that our portfolio company Manscaped has me covered for the inevitable.

They recently launched the ‘Dome Shaver’ which looks sci-fi awesome. I am going to send one to a few bald friends as a gift and note - ‘Finally a gift for the man who has everything…but hair!’

Manscaped is a fund 3 portfolio company of ours and Paul Tran the founder has had incredible vision building the brand and business in a very short time.

The hilarious spirit of the company shines through in their ads…here is one with seniors reacting to their ads and the word ‘gooch’:

I remember a first meeting with Paul back in 2017 when he said to me ‘every centimeter of the women’s body has a billion dollar grooming/care product and that he would do the same for men’.

He also knew that he could move from ‘below the belt’ with the original Manscaped product to a full men’s grooming line where they are now:

The company is truly omni channel starting in e-commerce and now on the shelves of Target and Walmart.

Every few months I go check the new products and end up ordering a couple of things. Today I ordered the new limited version ‘Lawn Mower Ultra’ in the slick white color.

The ‘weed whacker’ for nose and ear hair is a gift that keeps on giving.

It is really fun and exciting seeing the company, business, brand and product line grow from when we first met Paul and heard the pitch.
