Market Truthiness – The Robots Will Win!

Truthiness is a great word. Don King wishes it was his.

I am CEO of Stocktwits which is about sharing real-time information, yet I invest in early stage ideas that if I am lucky…will take years to achieve a liquidity event.

News does not matter to me, yet I love passing it along to others in a contextual way. Headlines are hysterical if you look at them the right way.

I don’t daytrade unless I am wrong or lucky, yet our core audience loves the idea of it. I do think it is pretty damn hard to make a living out of it, but you should be able to try on as level a playing field as possible. You should be able to do it with as many people on your team as possible.

I LOVE that Stocktwits is misunderstood, but I don’t think it will always be that way.

I am constantly blown away by the talent and insight on our stream. One of my fave follows is chicagosean . His about page is great on his blog.

His latest post on ‘slowing down ‘ is right on.

You don’t have to daytrade to spend hours on Stocktwits. In fact, there are thousands of us reformed guys who will root you on to do better than we ever did.

The robots will win in the end but we should slay as many of them on the way to their inevitable victory.
