Microsoft – what's really wrong!
I am not a fan of Microsoft by any means.
But, let’s turn back the clocks just a little.
Didn’t they own the world not too long ago? Didn’t we hate them for more than just their bad, buggy, LATE software (Anyone for Microsoft BOB)?
WE DID – trust me. We just hated them.
Today I feel about them the way I feel about a mosquito bite. I hear it coming (a little buzz), there is a little, little prick and some blood – nobody is hurt – it’s just a little itchy and a bit of a nuisance and than you forget about it.
It was NOT like this when GATES was in charge. He ruled by scorched earth. Now he does picnics and cures aids and helps blind kids. Big Woop :) .
Microsoft needs GATES back and cranky.
Maybe Steve Jobs will invest $150 million in Microsoft, the same way gates made his brillliant investment back in 1997.
Struggling Apple Gets Boost From MicrosoftSoftware Giant to Invest $150 Million in Rival[FINAL Edition]The Washington Post – Washington, D.C.Author:Rajiv ChandrasekaranDate:Aug 7, 1997
The two companies unveiled an alliance in which Microsoft agreed to invest $150 million in financially faltering Apple, jointly develop new technologies with it and expand the lineup of Microsoft software for Apple’s Macintosh computers.Announced by Apple co-founder Steve Jobs at an Apple trade show in Boston, the deal prompted catcalls from loyal Macintosh users in the audience, who feared it marked the start of the enemy — Microsoft and its Windows software — swallowing up their beloved Macintosh technology. But Jobs stood firm, using his status as the father of the Macintosh to argue for new thinking among Apple’s devotees. “We have to let go of the notion that in order for Apple to win, Microsoft has to lose,” he told the shocked crowd at the MacWorld Expo show. “The era of setting this up as a competition between Apple and Microsoft is over as far as I’m concerned.”
PS – Thanks to Wall Street Fighter for the great link. He has some great stuff over on his blog. Check it out.
