Microsoft's iPod killer?

It is not news, never will be news, not EVER happening. Apple is the only one that kills the iPod.

Obviously the government can try to kill the iPod as the French government is trying to do. Let’s leave the socialist a-holes out of it.

Microsoft though is up to their old tricks, announcing products that are not close to launch. This time an iPod killer. Verizon and the rest of the phone companies were launching them last christmas. WOoooooOOO!

Apple’s problems today revolve around the SEC investigation for option pricing and their own quarterly comparisons (impossible to beat I think). They are guilty until proven innocent on both counts and I do not expect any upside until MacBook sale’s take up some sales growth slack from iPod sales and the SEC option issue blows over. I love my MacBook but don’t like the odds of this happening.

Note – Apple should just settle this option thing RIGHT NOW to give the stock a chance.

It is July now. If Microsoft wants their iPod killer to start killing, it needs to be widely available on retail shelves by September 1. Ya Right!
