Mobile...Pets...Biotech...Gold...Small Financial...Pin a Tail on the Leaders

I learn a lot watching the ‘human ticker’ at Stocktwits.

I have learned that Forex is hot. People love talking about currencies and their paired trades and pips. While e-brokers fight for each others customers, Forex brokers are just gaining new accounts without stealing them from each other.

I have learned that while most financial stock chatter centers on the inane $faz , $fas , $c $bac $aig busted companies and securities, small financial stocks are roaring.

I have learned that while humans will always hate each other, we love our animals… ($neog, $pets) I am long.

I have learned that people can make shitpiles of money owning ridiculous small biotech stocks in bull runs. I am not one of those people.

I have seen Gold regain and quickly lose $1,000 but the traders are loving it once again.

But, what really is shining is mobile…$aapl, $rimm, $palm, $qcom, $arst, $star, $swks….(long $star and $$swks).

It’s hard to believe we are rallying so strongly. It’s not thick with quality for sure, but by watching the list I get from my friends at Blackstar, I have an easy access point to what’s hot and moving and relatively, the strongest stocks in the market. This list looks a lot better than three months ago, so it will be interesting to see if it further broaden and if more stocks surpass previous all-time highs.
