Momentum Monday - A Gloomy Christmas

Good morning…

Ivanhoff and I took a rare week off this week from doing our show.

The mood in the markets right now is miserable. Charlie sums it up best with the following two tweets (charts)…

Silver is strong and Chinese stocks are bouncing. A perfect ending to 2022.

All the indexes look heavy right now… even energy.

The persistent gloom has created this weight on the markets so it won’t take much in the form of good news to ignite a rally.

The markets will heal and I want to wait until the price strength is much more clear.
