Muskoka – The more things change, the more they remain the same.

I love the fact that time has stood still here since I last spent any quality time in Muskoka some 18 years ago.

Here are the differences and all but one are for the better:

Traffic – The traffic heading to cottage country is awful.

Wireless – never bad.

Satellite and HDTV – fun to watch the World Cup on a great television anytime, anywhere.

Jet Ski’s – This is my favorite change. What great machines these have become as lake utility vehicles.
