My Degenerate 60th Birthday In Las Vegas With Friends and This Week in The Degenerate Economy: Robinhood Joins the S&P 500 and Prediction Markets Are Exploding

Good morning…

I turn 60 next week.

No big deal.

The only think I don’t like about 60 is the ‘6’ and so for the foreseeable future I will continue to be 59.

For my 60th, I asked Ellen if it would be ok to throw a party in Las Vegas and invite my friends. She said go do it. Ellen is off on her twice yearly sister trips, hiking and touring Europe.

With the help of Ethan Weiss my chief of staff, a best pal of my son max, we got 26 close friends of mine together for a weekend at the Fontainebleau for some gambling, race car driving, great food and today…a lot of sportsbook. Max and his friends joined too. A few of the pics…

A lady at the next table was celebrating her 50th with friends and they were so wonderful to sing happy Birthday to me as well…

The beginning of an epic roll from Mike Lazerow which included a ‘150 to 1’ payoff for us when he ran the numbers

Onward…

Here is this weeks episode where I cover the following topics:

$HOOD ( ▼ 2.31% ) ’s S&P 500 induction and social push to $COIN ( ▼ 0.28% )  stepping into a full-line “supermarket of transactions”, who benefits from the prediction-market surge, why $UBER ( ▲ 1.28% )  and $DASH ( ▼ 0.85% )  still own your time budget, and where the “picks & shovels” plays may shine.

You can follow along with how I have been investing along this theme the last few years with the index I created here.
