Some New Financial Terms to Explain the Bull Market in Technology Stocks
What a week for technology stocks and my ‘fashology’ index.
If you have been a part of this great run, congratulations. It has not been easy to hold onto stocks based on the headlines.
If you have just watched…congratulations for not being short stocks based on the headlines.
I am grateful for all the nice comments this week in my streams and the blog.
At this point, I have no way of fundamentally understanding valuations for the software and ecommerce stocks that I continue to hold.
I liked this Michael Pachter description of new financial terms though:
more finance terms/2:
EBJC Earnings before John Carreyrou
EWPF Earnings if women were paid fairly
EBAIS Earnings before AI singularity
EBAAI Earnings before Amazon ate our industry
EBACT Earnings before awkward Congressional testimony
EBPB Earnings before pivot to blockchain

We are in one of those rare markets where owning technology stocks is mostly glorious.
I will just try and enjoy it and keep the ego in check.
