WTF with Nokia $nok?

Back in 1998, they owned me. I was a slave to my Nokia. Finalnd was the New Silicon Valley or Iceland or something.

Today, it is pathetic.

While we lambaste Yahoo, Banks and Airlines, Nokia has snuck up on asshat corporation of the century. It’s time to start with the Finalnd jokes and ditch the polish ones.

All this brings me to Apple $aapl and Steve Jobs.

Maybe it’s true that Steve Jobs is a mean prick.

Maybe it’s true he has a monopoly and/or is behaving in monopolistic fashion.

Yada yada yada…

Apple has the best products by far as voted on by customers and their wallets. As Gruber (an Apple ‘Fanboy’) points out…even us blind Apple lovers want competition . If you love nerds and gadgets, you want more choice and if you love stocks, you want there to be many winners.

Time will be the great decider on what Steve Jobs was really up to. It sure was the great equalizer on Nokia’s domionance of Mobile 1.0.

In the meantime, how many ‘Fins’ does it take to send a text?
