Ouch!

I think I had one stock in the red – RICK’s cabaret.

Days like today remind me why trading was such a grind. In bad markets, you have to go tough it out everyday. I can’t think of something more depressing, especially with the weather the way it is.

The S&P is dominated these days by Financial companies so the market numbers are a little misleading. Continuing to just do less.

Lot’s of smart people biiiitching that the Fed is too focused on the wrong issue…inflation. I don’t think there is any one problem in this market other than confidence. If the Fed can help restore confidence, we are back. Sounds like they are not there yet.

Without confidence, stocks don’t rise. Big financial companies are in panic mode. It will take much time to resolve and work out new practices. I am not happy about that, but it was a pretty great cycle for the Longs. I am going to continue to respect the time element.
