Phoenix Suns...Been A Long Time

Back in 2006 and 2007 Max and I spent a lot of time watching the Phoenix Suns. That year they won 15 straight and 27 of 29.

I was blogging back then as well and so I dug up my posts.

I could not resist seeing the Suns in the NBA finals so I called my friend Enrique, a season ticket holder and real fan, and he was nice enough to take me.

I have been watching the Suns in the playoffs and the play of Chris Paul has been astounding. I was thrilled to get to watch him play live. I never knew how good a player he was all these years.

My friend Ross sent me this ESPN video of a story they covered of Chris Paul in high school scoring 61 points as a tribute to his grandfather who was murdered at the age of 61. It is really an amazing tribute and achievement. I think we know his destiny at this point.

I am glad I was part of this journey for him and the Suns and even Phoenix.
