I hate being that guy, so I will let Restoration Hardware CEO Gary Friedman be that guy.

I love Restoration Hardware the brand and company (not always the stock) and Gary has had a great run at the helm.

He’s out yelling ‘recession’ (Hard Money’s excellent market newsletter):

Mortgage rates are shooting higher which won’t help large purchases like homes and furniture.

The homebuilders are already in a fast bear market from all-time highs.

You can see from the chart below I created on Koyfin how Restoration and Wayfair are the leveraged ways to play low rate housing booms but also crash hard as the cycle turns.

I have my eye on Restoration Hardware ($RH) if the stock gets back in the 100’s and the recession narrative grows.
