Starbucks (SBUX) on Wallstrip

‘Tall, one percent, one Splenda Latte.’

That’s my order, day in day out.

I have been writing a lot about Starbucks (SBUX) lately, mainly because I was buying the stock just under $30 a share and just talking myself through it .

The stock is expensive and always has been. It is priced handsomely for it’s past achievements. BUT, others want to slip into the space and Starbucks can’t be complacent .

In essence … buying Howard Schultz’s brand after a 20 percent correction seems wise if you are an investor.

Let’s face it, what upside could be left in a stock that has climbed 4,400 percent since 1992 ?

I love our Wallstrip today because it looks beyond the headlines and captures the Culture of Starbucks in the world today. It’s just very Wallstrippy, which is why I wanted to start the whole project. It’s not about the coffee for the global masses anymore.
