Starbucks...Can Howie save it?...Does it need saving?

I gave up coffee a few months ago. More for the dairy. Caffeine and I are a perfect match :) .

I unfortunately did not give up the stock. I have been a buyer down to $19 in little bits. It has creeped into a top 10 holding. Bad idea so far.

I drink Green Tea and support my habit three times a day at Starbucks. If they charged me to pee, the stock would double.

I think the margins on Green Tea are better than coffee so off me they are killing it.

I am reading that Howie took back the reigns tonight and the stock is up 10 percent. The market loves McDonalds and hates Starbucks right now and is pricing in a major Starbucks slowdown.

I think you are stealing Starbucks below $20 with a weak dollar. I have been dead wrong. I suck when my opinion gets in the way of a broken stock, but going down with a brand like Starbucks is not the same as Worldcom and Enron or even Countrywide.

Twenty bucks will look cheap a few years out and although I am not adding more, I have added too much on the way down .

It will never be a top 5 holding of mine, but I feel ok with it at number 9 or 10. My average price is down to $21 and change so if Schultz announces a porn deal, I should get profitable fast.
