The Strongest Stocks with the Lowest Social Attention...Now on Stocktwits

I have had a hypothesis for a while about our Stocktwits 50 list of stocks. Actually, I have so many of them, but lately I have been wanting to track which on the list are the least cared about, taked about and followed.

We are able to do that and have started to organize it.

This week, as usual, The Stocktwits 50 is full of all kinds of familiar and unfamiliar companies. There remains a ton of strength across a very wide variety of industries. Some of the Companies, like $CYBX (long) have been on the list for over 30 weeks. I have owned it and covered it on the stream for months and yet it’s only followed by 59 people. Considering how many active investors and traders are on our site and how many watch The Stocktwits 50, I continue to be surprised by the lack of attention. I will keep owning it and looking for other names that continue to show up on our list for weeks at a time with the least social attention.

I bought $CSOD at $20 about 6 months ago on the stream and it seems like only my friend John Frankel (long time Goldman Sachs alumni and early investor) and I own it. It’s a fast growing software Company HQ’d in Santa Monica that has been on the list for 26 straight weeks and now risen more that 50 percent.

Some feel like they have already gotten away from me. $OSIS been on the Stocktwits 50 list for 8 weeks and still hardly followed or cared about. It’s up a whopping 25 percent though.

This week, I am adding $KEYW and $SYNT (24 weeks) to my watchlist of unloved leaders.
