CyberPunk Howard - Prompt on Midjourney by Matt Zimberg at Optimus

Good morning everyone.

A reader of mine ‘Optimus’ was giving me Midjourney tips via email and created a cyberpunk Howard. Not sure why I have forehead tattoo’s but I like it otherwise.

I am having a good time in Nashville. It is a young town. The ZERO taxes thing here is a real growth vehicle as well. If you are young and starting a business, I can understand why you would move here.

I listened to a bunch of podcasts the last week in my car and the plane ride here so let’s start with my favorites.

Ari Emanuel went on ‘Freakonomics’ Radio to talk about his giant sports and entertainment media business. I learned a lot.

Josh and Michael chatted with Cathie Wood and while I would not hand my money over to Cathie, the guys let her riff about technology and the future and I thought she shared some good ideas and insights.

My favorite streaming show in a long time was the HBO ‘Smartless’ series. I love the podcast because it’s three friends in the ‘business’ with all their inside baseball knowledge and stories. Seeing them take the podcast on the road was really great. Maybe it is because they talk about food most of the time when they are not cutting into each other or the fact that they are over 50 like me, but Ellen and I had a lot of laughs.

A couple great reads from Morgan Housel that ring true to me…

The first is ‘Paying Attention’. The second is ‘Expectations Debt’.

I learned this week that The US Surgeon General is warning that social media is bad for youth mental health. Ed Zitron has his dark take here titled ‘Abandonment Issues’.

Seeing that AI remains the hot topic of the year and every investor and founder is having FOMO, here are the most popular AI websites.

Have a great Sunday.
