Sunday Reads And Listens...Comedy Cellar, Cycling's Lance Armstrong and Bubbles (The Beanie Babies)...Some Great Listens and Watches

Good morning…

It has been a busy weekend for me. Yesterday was beach run, strand ride and golf (my home course San Diego Country Club) with my regular summer golf partner Mike Zimmerman. I have also been playing with my sons friends (Matt Moss, Jackson Moss, Jake Townsend) who are all college golfers headed for the pros (they all plan on the grind of it). It has been incredibly fun to just watch them up close post casual 65’s to 68’s (so far) while having to watch me and Mike.

Ellen is braving the heat in Phoenix working with some real estate clients.

Today I have 50 miles on the bike ahead of me.

The high intensity classes are kicking my ass. I am slow to recover from them.

Ok onward…

I love cycling and everyone here knows that. Sharona and Nave at DSTNC launched the digital gift cards which are awesome. If you are a friend of mine and like cycling, I can finally give the gift of luxury cycling apparel. Of course…you can do the same for me.

I am going with listens and watches this week.

Ellen and I really enjoyed ‘Crowded Room’ on Apple TV.

Yesterday, I watched ‘The Beanie Baby Bubble’ also on Apple TV. It was good. Zach Galafawhatever his name is was excellent as always.

YouTube has me down a real estate rabbit hole. This highest and most expensive Central Park tower is fun to tour.

This recent Lance Armstrong interview was something I enjoyed. I know Lance’s best friend George Hincapie (great guy) and follow along George’s Instagram so I always see him and Lance together. They started a company together and have a very popular podcast. I finally wanted to just hear Lance in a full interview.

The owner of the Comedy cellar (I go whenever I can in New York) Noam Dowrman talking about the club and the evolving comedy scene. Excellent.

Finally, this was great…Anduril, the American start-up trying to prevent World War 3.
