The Stocktwits Cashtag Awards - Presented by Etoro...April 30th At The Stand, New York

Good morning…

One thing I have wanted to bring back since returning as CEO is ‘The Cashtag Awards’. There are hundreds of thousands of daily contributors on Stocktwits, sharing research, ideas, charts etc and obviously more on Reddit, Twitter and YouTube. While we can thank people in the stream and online, we want to celebrate the whole Stocktwits and Fintwit ecosystem that we helped get started back in 2007. Back then I sent the first $ cashtag (it was $RIMM) to Fred Wilson from my Blackberry.

We asked our friends at Etoro to be the lead sponsor and partner for the event and they loved the idea.

We have a wide range of 13 awards this year with some great prizes. I imagine there will be some roasting too as we invited a few great professional comedians to help us with the event. The hilarious Francis Ellis is one of them.

We have room for about 400 people to come celebrate the winners and have some laughs. Tickets can be purchased here. The nominees will be announced today and for most of the awards, the community will do the voting.
