I still don’t like the old man, but he is the one guy that can fight the tape.

You can only fight the tape if you are lucky, stupid filthy rich (helps to be old as the bad outcome you may be dead for) and have a seat at the government table.

In hindsight, Warren Buffett had all three (maybe 4), going for him when he took out an ad in the New York Times in October 2008 saying ‘Buy America’.
