That was a great football game. I am not an Eagles fan but I am now a Nicke Foles fan.

I caught up on a weeks worth of reading and emails this afternoon knowing tonight I would be plopped on the couch.

My favorite investing and life quote of the week was shared by Pomp from the Farnam Street blog:

You get paid linearly for analyzing and solving problems. You get paid non-linearly for spotting and seizing opportunities.

The Eagles were paid non-linearly tonight for a lot of chances they took during the season and especially tonight.

Daniel Egan had the best blog post of the week titled’ The Wealth of Sapiens‘.

The benchmark is ‘my family and I are alive, safe and fed’. The rest is luxury.
