That Was a WOOSH...What's next?

It was a big vacuum WHOOSH. Maybe not the big and final one, but we should get a reprieve for now. Lot’s of financial stocks just stopped going down and had big reversals.

I rarely watch the tape, but I admit to watching it for most of the day.

When I got an email telling me about Herb on CNBC, I got excited. When I bought Goldman at $163 and 10 minutes later it was at $157, I knew the barfing had really started and margin call fear was thick.

I think my panties/zag post was perfectly timed and I bought a lot of merchandise today – BIDU, QQQQ calls, SPY, GS, SYNA. NVDA, LOOP were my tickets of the day. I wass hammered relentlessly in Gold and Metal stocks. They look done.

The Bull market that brought us to Dow 14,000 is now officially over. There will be new leadership and it may start today or it may take months, but most of what led the last bull market is going to be poison.

That posion ahead will likely be commodities.

I imagine as bad as it seems selling these stocks into the weakness and stops will look like good prices a few years from now. Not science, just thinking out loud and telling you what’s happening inside my portfolio.
